Creamy Coconut Tzatziki with a Twist
This refreshing and versatile Coconut Tzatziki sauce is a family favorite—perfect for dipping or spreading over your favorite dishes. Packed with fresh herbs, zesty lemon, and a hint of Jamaican spice, it’s dairy-free, nourishing, and parasite protocol-approved! This recipe makes a large serving because my kids and I can’t get enough of it! If you’d like, feel free to cut it in half.
Ingredients
2 (16 oz) containers of Culina plain coconut yogurt (https://amzn.to/4gc0I8g)
1 cucumber, finely diced
1/2 bunch scallions, thinly sliced
1/2 small red onion, finely diced
Fresh dill, chopped (to taste)
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2–3 pinches of Jamaican seasoning (https://amzn.to/4g8PTDR)
Salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare the Yogurt Base
Scoop the coconut yogurt into a large mixing bowl and stir until smooth. - Add Vegetables
Finely dice the cucumber, scallions, and red onion, then add them to the bowl. - Incorporate Flavors
Stir in the minced garlic, fresh dill, lemon juice, Jamaican seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly to combine. - Taste and Adjust
Sample the sauce and adjust the salt, lemon juice, or seasoning to suit your taste preferences. - Let it Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
