Indulge guilt-free with this protein-packed healthy brownie batter! One of my biggest challenges when a craving hits is finding something quick before I fall off the wagon and opt for something processed. This brownie batter is the perfect solution for those moments. It’s fast, convenient, and made with ingredients that most of us already have on hand. Enjoy this quick treat that satisfies your sweet tooth while supporting your healthy lifestyle goals!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup organic almond butter
1 tbsp organic cocoa powder (I use organic fermented cocoa powder for this recipe)
2 tbsp organic maple syrup
Pinch salt
1/4 cup Lily’s milk chocolate
1/2-1 tbsp refined coconut oil or grass-fed butter.
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl combine almond butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup and salt.
- In a separate small bowl, add in the chocolate chips and coconut oil, microwave for about 30-45 seconds until melted or place on a double boiler.
- Once the chocolate is melted, blend with the other ingredients.
- Top with your favorite toppings and serv!
Note: I have also mixed in one banana with this recipe to give it a silkier texture and it’s delicious!
